Level 2 Diploma in Beauty Therapy Studies (Fast Track)

The Level 2 Beauty Therapy course is the ideal starting point for those individuals who wish to pursue a career as a Beauty Therapist. Our level 2 course is designed to provide you with the skills to gain employment as a junior therapist within the industry. You will study a range of beauty techniques, developing the skills you need to carry out facials, hair removal, manicures and pedicures, eyebrow and eyelash treatments and skin tanning service as well as following health and safety, promoting products and services and reception duties.

This is a fast track course for those who want to qualify within a quicker period of time to be able to progress to a higher level or into work. You need to be committed as this course is delivered at a fast pace

Topics covered include:

·       Provide facial skincare.     

·       Remove hair using waxing techniques.

·       Provide eyelash and brow treatments.

·       Client care and communication in beauty-related industries.

·       Provide manicure treatments.      

·       Provide pedicure treatments.       

·       Follow health and safety practice in the salon.

·       Salon reception duties.

·       Skin tanning

You will need:

English at a good level

An interest in working in the Hair and Beauty industry.

All applicants must have an initial assessment and interview to confirm that the course is suitable for them.

You will be assessed on the practical work that you do in the beauty salon, as well as observations, an e-portfolio, on-line testing, assignments and oral questioning.

Adults - Entry Level, Level 1 and Level 2

If you will be aged 19+ on 31st August prior to the start date of your course, up to Level 2, then your study with us will be free. You must have lived for 3 years within the EU/EEA/UK prior to the start of your course, you must have lived in the UK before 1st January 2021 and you must have permission to live in the UK for at least 12 months from the first day of learning. On successful completion of the course, you can continue to develop your skills further and progress on to  Level 3  Beauty Therapy
