About the Course

Explore the essentials of supply chain logistics covering key concepts, processes, and strategies for efficient and effective supply chain management.

This accredited qualification at Level 1 will provide an understanding of the supply chain and the logsitics industry.

This course will help you to build on your current administrative skills by gaining a competitive edge. This will include team working that will support the impact you could make within the workplace.

What Will I Study?

During this course, you will cover key concepts for efficient and effective supply chain management including:

  • Team Work
  • Design of Efficient Supply Chains
  • Managing Inventory
  • Demand Forecasting
  • Harnessing Sustainable Practices

What Will I Need?

You will need:

  • Literacy skills at Level 1 or 2
  • Previous adminstrative, sales experience would be beneficial

Please be prepared to provide your residency documents such as a passport, EU citizen ID card, UK Birth Certificate or Biometric Card. If you have been in the UK for less than 3 years or have entered the UK with a visa you will need to provide evidence that you are eligible to study in the UK - your visa, your biometric card that covers the duration of your course or any relevant home office documents to support your residency should all be uploaded.

If you’re an EU, EEA or Swiss citizen we will need to see evidence of 'Pre-Settled' or 'Settled-status' documents. Also for funding purposes we would need to see evidence of payslips if working (within the last 3 months). If you are receiving benefits (e.g JSA, ESA, Universal Credit (UC), Housing benefits etc. please bring evidence of this).

Assessment

You will be required to do assignments and tasks in class and home study, able to meet deadlines and respond to tutor feedback so that your assignments are to a level 1 standard.

What Can I Do After?

You can progress onto further education including our Exporting Importing and International Legislation and Data Analysis Level 2 courses that complement to this industry that employs nearly 10% of the working population and a £15 billion yearly turnover.
