We are looking for an keen foodie apprentice chef to join our team at this leading law firm. Our chefs cook fresh food from scratch covering all areas of the industry. This position will be working in all areas of the business to ensure full learning experience is gained with lots of opportunity to grow with in the business. On a day to day basis we feed approximately 900-1000 people in our staff restaurant & hospitality varies on a daily basis.
We have a large staff dining restaurant offering everything from street food, deli bar, salad bar, healthy pop up, tapas bar & classic home comfort main courses. Our services cover breakfast, lunch & dinner 5 days a week
In hospitality we prepare everything from breakfast, sandwich lunches through to Michelin standard fine dining & canape events
• GCSE English and Maths grades A-D / 3-9 (or equivalent)
• GCSE Cookery/Food Tech desirable
Remember you will be on your feet all day! You will be working in a hot and busy kitchen You will work a rota which may require you to work weekends and evenings. Please research location and consider your commute in terms of time and cost prior to applying for the role.
Progression within your job role and organisation with the potential to complete further Apprenticeships and training relevant to your role as you progress. On completion of the apprenticeship we offer a full time commis chef role with lots of opportunities across the UK to progress with in Lexington or the wider Elior business.
On the job training 4 days a week and also 1 day a week at WKC

Functional Skills English and maths at Level 1, progressing to level 2
